Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Dawn Digital Solutions ("we," "us") collects through dawndigitalsolutions.com and when we work with you, why we collect it, who receives it, and the choices you have. It is effective September 29, 2026.
1. Information we collect
We collect what we need to answer your request, schedule calls, and design, build and support your website.
When you book a call
- Required: your first name, email address, the call type and time you request, and your agreement to receive emails from us.
- Optional: your last name, company, current website, budget range, and a note about what you want to build.
When we work together
- Correspondence: emails and messages you send us, and our notes from calls and meetings. We will tell you before we record any call.
- Business and billing details: your business name and contact information, billing address and payment status. Card and bank details go to our payment processor, not to us.
- Project materials: text, images, logos, brand files and other content you give us for your site, and any account access you choose to grant us (for example to a domain registrar, host, CMS or store).
Business contact information from public sources
To find local businesses that may want a new website, we collect business contact details that are publicly listed, such as a business name, address, phone number, website and business email address. We use them only to contact that business about our services, and we stop when asked.
Technical information
- IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and timestamps, which our hosting provider and other services record as part of ordinary web traffic.
- Anonymous visit statistics (the page viewed, the site that sent you, your country, and your browser and device type), counted by Vercel Web Analytics without cookies (see Section 4).
- If you accept advertising cookies: the pages you view and actions you take on our site, your IP address, browser and device details, and a cookie ID, collected by the Meta Pixel (see Section 4).
- One small item stored in your browser to remember your cookie choice (see Section 4).
2. How we use information
We use personal information to run our studio and for no unrelated purpose. Specifically, we use it to:
- reply to your request, schedule and confirm calls, and send you a video link;
- prepare proposals, written plans and quotes;
- design, build, launch, host (where we have agreed to) and support your website;
- invoice you and collect payment;
- send project updates and service messages;
- send occasional emails about our services and news to people who agreed to receive them when booking a call. Every one of these emails includes an unsubscribe link, and we stop as soon as you use it;
- contact local businesses about our services by individual email or phone, identifying who we are and including a way to opt out, which we honor promptly;
- keep our site and systems secure and prevent abuse; and
- comply with the law and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. If you accept advertising cookies, the Meta Pixel shares details of your visit with Meta so we can measure and improve our ads. Some state laws treat this as “selling” or “sharing” information for targeted advertising. It only happens if you accept, and you can change your choice at any time (see Section 4). We do not use personal information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers below, with people who help us deliver your project, and where the law requires it.
| Provider | What it does for us | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | The CRM that receives your booking request and stores our correspondence | Name, email, company, website, budget range, project note, call type and time |
| Hosting provider | Serves our website and records standard server logs | IP address, browser and device details, pages requested |
| Vercel Web Analytics | Counts visits so we can see which pages are useful, without cookies | Page viewed, referring site, country, browser and device type |
| Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) | Measures and improves our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Only runs if you accept advertising cookies | Pages viewed and actions on our site, IP address, browser and device details, cookie ID |
| Google Fonts | Delivers the fonts used on our concept demo pages | IP address and browser details |
| Email, calendar and video-call tools | Send confirmations and host calls | Name, email address, call time |
| Payment processor | Processes invoices and payments | Name, contact and billing details, payment status |
Each provider handles that information under its own privacy policy and its agreement with us, and we ask them to use it only to provide their service to us.
Other disclosures
- Contractors and collaborators: designers, developers or other specialists who work on your project with us, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Your own vendors: when we set up your domain, hosting, CMS or store, we pass along what those providers need to create and configure your accounts.
- Legal and safety: where a law, subpoena or court order requires it, or to enforce our agreements or protect the rights, safety or property of Dawn Digital Solutions, our clients or others.
- Business transfer: if Dawn Digital Solutions is sold, merged or transferred, personal information may move to the new owner, who must honor this policy or give you notice of any change.
- With your consent: for any other purpose, only after you agree.
4. Cookies and browser storage
What we store. We store one small item in your browser to remember your cookie choice. If you click Accept, we also use the Meta Pixel, which sets an advertising cookie (_fbp) so Meta can measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram and show them to people likely to be interested. Meta may combine this with other information it holds about you under its own privacy policy. If you click Decline, the Meta Pixel does not load. We do not use analytics cookies.
Changing your choice. You can at any time. This clears the Meta cookie from our site and asks you again. You can also manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Fonts and scripts. Fonts and scripts on our main pages are served from our own site, apart from the Meta Pixel if you accept it. Our concept demo pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which may see your IP address and browser details as part of normal web traffic.
Links to other sites. Our site may link to other websites and services. Their privacy practices are their own, so read their policies before you share information with them.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of selling and sharing. If your browser sends it, the Meta Pixel does not load, even if you clicked Accept. Do Not Track has no common standard, so we rely on your cookie choice instead.
Visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It does not use cookies, does not follow you to other websites, and does not tell us who you are. We only see totals, such as how many people viewed a page and which countries and devices they used.
5. Payments, retention and security
Payments. Card and bank details are entered with our payment processor, whose privacy policy governs that information. We receive confirmation that a payment was made and the details we need to keep our books.
How long we keep information.
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Booking requests and correspondence | While we are in touch and for up to 3 years after our last contact |
| Client project records, contracts and invoices | Up to 7 years, for tax and accounting |
| Project materials you gave us | Until the project is delivered and closed, then returned or deleted within 12 months unless you ask us to keep them |
| Public business contact details used for outreach | Until you ask us to stop, or 12 months without a response |
| Server logs | Typically up to 90 days |
We may keep information longer where the law requires it or to resolve a dispute.
Security. We protect information with encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it, and established providers for hosting, email and payments. We ask you to share account access only through secure channels and never in a plain email or text where a safer option exists. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold about you.
How to make a request. Email main@dawndigitalsolutions.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and say what you want, or reply to any email from us. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We respond within 45 days, and may extend that once by another 45 days where the law allows, telling you why.
Stopping outreach. If we contacted you about our services, reply "stop" or use the opt-out link in the message, and we will not contact you again about them. We will still send essential messages about any project or account you have with us.
State privacy rights. If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to know and access what we hold, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, and opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling. We do not sell personal information, do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling with legal effects, and do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as those laws define it. You will not be treated differently for using these rights.
Authorized agents and appeals. You may use an authorized agent to make a request, and we may require proof of their authority. If we deny a request, reply to our answer with the subject line "Appeal" and we will review it and respond within 60 days. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
California. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
7. Children, international visitors, changes and contact
Children. Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
International visitors. Dawn Digital Solutions is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. By using our site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and handled in those places under this policy.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy as our business changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to clients or a notice on the site before they take effect.
